Our KS3 students regularly complete The Scholars Programme. The Brilliant Club recruits, trains and places doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in schools to deliver programmes of university-style tutorials, which are supplemented by two university trips.
Our KS4 and 5 students undertake the Secondary Programme which offers pupils the chance to work with a university student or senior pupil in school. They focus on one GCSE (English, Maths or Science) or A Level subject that they’d like to improve in. University students coach individual pupils for one hour a week over the course of a term in school, helping them become independent and resilient learners.
Some of our KS4 and KS5 student will match our students with inspiring female professionals, who will support them over the course of an academic year. Alongside this mentoring, we also provide access to high quality workshops, exclusive networking opportunities and work experience that girls may not have had access to otherwise.
Our KS3 students complete Mosaic’s secondary school mentoring programme which provides a package of opportunities to raise the aspirations of young people and close the gap between those aspirations and their attainment.
