• Ensuring that people are included and feel comfortable

• Listening, exchanging and understanding people’s feelings, ideas and beliefs

BEING WELCOMING means: 

• Ensuring there is a place for everyone

• Taking care of people especially when they are in need or when they are new

• Everyone should be treated equally

• Everyone should be able to say what they feel, to express their ideas and opinions and be listened to

RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE  

• Everyone has a right to feel safe and that they are not going to be hurt in any way
