We are looking to appoint a Deputy SENCo to assist in managing the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This will include promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils. The Deputy SENCo, under the direction of the SENCo, will help with the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND or a disability. They will also provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies. This will be a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is passionate about working with children within a learning support environment and enabling them to fulfil their potential.  The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through a vast programme of CPD provided by the academy.
