We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Director of Science. The Assistant Director of Science will support the Director of Science in driving forward the vision of the school with all internal and external stakeholders.   It is a varied role with responsibility for, in conjunction with the Director of Science, developing the curriculum and courses to stimulate students’ interest in Science and monitoring progress of students.  The role with oversee the induction and mentoring of new staff and support the development of the faculty knowledge base.   Comprehensive details of the duties and responsibilities of the role can be found on the Job Description. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach all subjects to KS4.

The successful candidate will be fully supported in their career and professional development through a vast programme of CPD provided by the academy.
