A group of Year 9 students recently spent the morning at the National College of High Speed Rail in Birmingham on an event aimed at showcasing the many career opportunities in Civil Engineering.

After spending time speaking to employers at a careers fair, students were then able to take part in an ‘Interview the Engineer’ activity where students asked as many questions as possible in ten minutes. Students also had a go at planning a route for the new HS2 Railway.
